Traveling With A Group

How Has COVID Affected Your Disney Vacation?

If you are planning a vacation to a Disney theme park, you may wonder how the coronavirus will affect your travel plans. There are many professional Disney vacation planners who can help you through all of the ins and outs of this difficult time, so you may want to contact one in order to be sure that your trip is still going to work out. In the meantime, here are a few changes that Disney has made in order to make the park a little more safe for everyone during the pandemic.

FastPass Tickets On Hold

In an effort to keep the park as clean as possible, ride attendants are cleaning each surface of rides after every rider. Unfortunately, this takes time. In order to allow this time for extra cleanliness, FastPasses are not currently being honored. In addition, it is important to note that people in line will need to maintain a six-foot social distance while waiting. Disney does have plans to reinstate FastPasses in the near future.

One Park Per Day

While trying to limit the number of germs that are being spread around, park goers will not be able to use Park Hopper pass. People that have paid extra for both parks may actually be able to get another day of tickets to go to the other park. While it may be more convenient to just go on the same day, this will greatly limit the number of people you come in contact with, hopefully keeping your family safer in the process.

Lose Ticket Refund Policy

Disney has always been a very understanding company. In the wake of COVID-19, this has not changed. It seems their main priority is to keep their patrons safe, all while providing their guests with a magical experience. In order to keep everyone safe, anyone who comes down with COVID-19 before their trip may be able to get a refund or a different date on which to visit, in an effort to keep everyone safe. They are also letting many people who had scheduled visits during quarantine to come whenever they want before the end of September 2021. This is obviously a company that really cares about people.

While a few things have changed, there are still a lot of magic moments and memories to be had in Disney Parks. For more information on these changes, talk to a Disney Vacation Planner.
